This is my favorite place to get toiletries, supplements and bulk tea. They have a great selection of snacks, supplements, and personal care products, as well as local products like desserts, fruits and veggies. There is a little smoothie shop/kitchen in there as well and they have freshly prepared, prepackaged meals like pasta salad that you can get for a quick lunch. The staff are always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. It’s a great, local shop.

I’ve been buying bulk herbs and spices from Berrybrook for almost twenty years. I’ve always had a good experience and love the down to earth atmosphere. I’m so thankful they survived where it seems every other health food store in Charlotte has closed down. We need to support these locally owned treasures while we still have them.

Unique store. They have products that cannot be found anywhere else. They have raw milk, kefir, and things that are hard to find. Staff were friendly and caring. They asked me if I need anything. I haven’t tried the food here but I assume it should be great. Just a tad expensive.

I’m giving this shop 2 stars—one extra star for the nice vibe of the store. I came in for fenugreek seeds and was initially helped by a younger employee who was polite and explained the pricing. However, the older woman was rude, rushed me, and made me feel unwelcome. I was told the fenugreek would be $14.50 (about $15 with tax), but I was charged $17.86. When I got home, I realized the seeds were very poor quality—dark, shriveled, with foreign material mixed in. They smelled faint and stale, and the tea I made tasted off. Fenugreek should be vibrant, aromatic, and fresh—these were not. Between the poor customer service, overcharging, and low-quality herbs, I won’t be returning. If you’re looking for bulk herbs, I recommend buying from a directly sourced website instead. This store probably sells great products but the bulk herbs are not worth it. They are clearly from some cheap vendor or they are not storing the herbs properly.

Been meaning to stop by for quite some time. This store reminds me of small town shop. What a wonderful vibe. The people seem friendly & ready to help you find a natural product. I felt like I stepped back in time. I was greeted by Elizabeth & she was simply delightful. I took pics to show what they offer…there is quite a lot! From vitamins to natural skin care. This small gem is a must! I’ll be back for sure!
